Look I would never suggest that people should accept toxic people as partners. Or that if an individual is in a bad place and they want to put all of their issues onto you, either by blaming you or by expecting you to fix them, that you have to stay with them or be with them… But making this overarching rule that you have to be in a good place to be in a relationship is ignorant and potentially harmful for the longetitude of relationships. Speaking to the latter point, telling people they need to be perfect to be in a relationship makes no sense because, spoiler alert, shit happens!!! You cannot assume you will always be okay!! And bc we think everybody has to deal with their own shit completely on their own we have people who have been in relationships for 20 years peacing out when their partner is struggling in literally any way…..
To the other point, people CAN have strong relationships when they are not in a good place. The other belief assumes that everyone struggling sucks the life out of other people. I have genuinely seen so many people ditch people the moment they hear about a problem in their lives because they fear they will have to deal with it somehow.
And then we cover this up with “oh that’s not a bad thing. they’re not bad people. everybody works in their own self-interest” when the reality is that it’s a huge problem that people will see others at their most vulnerable points and ditch them. And I actually cannot see that as anything other than bad.
kodaka has so many good character concepts that he handled badly in presentation or execution…. monaca, mikan, ouma (in his concept art that i dont blame ppl for being pissed abt bc i am too)
like they had good concepts n compelling personalities but how he wrote them n showed said personalities n promoted the characters….. dont get me started on how fuckin awful drae was besides komaru n fukawa n syo (and nagisa n komaeda were good..)
but yea i have a special place in my heart for dr1 and sdr2 (and dr3 was surprisingly good at some parts, ive also heard nothing but good things abt drv3) always but the creator ticks me off so fucking much
Vine Update
Community and Creators,
In October we let you know that we’re shutting down Vine. Since then, we’ve been working closely with creators to find out what’s important to you, to answer your questions, and to make sure we do this the right way.
Here’s what’s coming: in January, we’re transitioning the Vine app to a pared-down Vine Camera. With this camera app you’ll still be able to make six-second looping videos, and either post them directly to Twitter or save them to your phone. In the coming days we’re also rolling out a way to make it easy for your Vine followers to follow you on Twitter – stay tuned for a “Follow on Twitter” notification soon. And last but not least, you can now download your Vines through the app or the website. All of your Vines will continue to live on the vine.co website so you can browse all of the amazing videos you created over the years.
